Assessment criteria and/or procedures: Applicants are required to complete an audition, which is held in Term 2 each year. The School has set minimum levels of previous achievements on AMEB or Trinity College examinations or equivalent for audition.

The Marten Bequest Travelling Scholarships 2011

Melville Bursary in Music

Type of study supported: commencing or continuing Tasmanian student at undergraduate or postgraduate level, studying in a Bachelor of Music course at the University of Tasmania Conservatorium of Music in classical solo instrument or voice. The student must demonstrate that they need financial support in order to undertake their course of study. Current part-time students may apply but if successful must study on a full-time basis, ie at least a 75% load to hold the bursary.
