Early Music Society of Victoria

An association that aims to "encourage and promote the performance and enjoyment of medieval, renaissance and baroque music through a wide range of activities", including hosting the annual National Easter Viol School for violists, lutenists and singers.

Nature of program:4 days of workshops and rehearsal interspersed with lectures and concerts.

Geelong Summer Music Camp

A day camp for young musicians, held in January each year.  A concert is held at the end of the camp. More information: http://www.gsmc.org.au

Harrietville Music Camp

State Music Camp, Victoria

This much admired and respected camp is now in its 48th year.  The camp provides students the opportunity to participate in one of two symphonic orchestras or two junior string orchestras.  For more info go to: http://www.statemusiccamp.com.au/
