This is a listing for each state and territory of musical performers with programs designed for school children.
Some performers are available through an organisation that offers a menu of performances from which you can select. Others are listed individually.
Generally, there is a brief description of what is available through each source, and then a link to a website to give the more complete information you need.
Some things to be aware of:
- Some school systems will permit school performances only be groups that have been formally approved. It is advisable to know whether the group you wish to invite will be permitted to perform.
- It is customary for the performers to provide instructional packages to prepare for and follow upon the performances.
- Many performers are also willing to run workshops with students. Some may even be willing to take up short term residencies in a school.
- If you live in a regional area, it may also be possible to arrange a concert for adults while you have the performers in town.
