Nature of aid: Each year the Canberra School of Music Foundation supports a number of scholarships for new undergraduate students enrolled in the Bachelor of Music degree program. Program includes Strings, Jazz studies Brass and Woodwind

Financial value of aid: Students enrolled in Brass and String are eligible for scholarships valued at $3500 each. Students studying Guitar, Jazz or Woodwind are eligible for scholarships valued at $500.
Eligibility: The scholarships are open to new undergraduate students enrolled in the Bachelor of Music degree program, in Brass, String, Guitar, Jazz or Woodwind.

Type of study supported: This scholarship is open to boys in Years 9 – 12 at Canberra Grammar School.
Nature of aid: Up to 4 scholarships may be awarded.

John Barrett Music Scholarship (Canberra Grammar School)
Type of study supported: The John Barrett Music Scholarship is open to both boys in the Junior and Senior sections of the school.

Kornfeld Graduate Scholarship for Singers & Kornfeld Graduate Tuition Scholarship for Singers

Type of study supported: Music, Graduate
Nature of aid: Scholarship for a student undertaking a graduate program in Voice Performance at The Australian National University. There are also a number of Graduate Tuition Scholarships for award each year.

Financial value of aid: The tax-free stipend for a Kornfeld Graduate Scholarship for Singers shall be equal to the Australian National University Master Degree Scholarship, currently at the rate of approximately $A17, 500 per annum, unless otherwise determined by the selection committee
Duration of aid: a program of study or for one calendar year, which ever is the shorter.
Eligibility: Scholarships shall be available to candidates who apply for Graduate Certificate in Music Performance, Graduate Diploma in Music, Master of Music, Master of Philosophy (in Music) or Doctor of Philosophy (PhD) in Music or in Voice Performance.
Assessment criteria and/or procedures: Audition/interview. Selection of scholarships is on the merit of the applicant as judged by the Selection Committee, based on the candidate’s performance and prior academic and artistic achievement,
